2018 was a busy year. I’ve been participating in many projects that ate away huge portions of my time, however they forced me to improve my time management and productivity. I’m starting this year with new energy and ideas, carefully planning a few major goals to achieve in 2019.

My main focus for the months to come is to finish two writing projects that begun last Autumn. November 2018 was special for me, because I won NaNoWriMo for the first time, typing over 50 000 words in 23 days. I used NaNoWriMo as a way to start a novel I had been planning to write since August, The Blue Wings. I have completed ca. 60% of the story, and my priority for January and February is to finish the first draft. I have also another, longer story planned for 2019, but it will have to wait until The Blue Wings is ready for publication.

Yesterday I started a 365 photo project on deviantART, promising myself to upload a new photograph to my gallery each day of this year. I still have several thousand undeveloped RAW files waiting on my hard drive to see the light of day, and one of my minor new year resolutions is to process them all and share the best ones with you. The 365 project might be a good place for it.

I’m planning to publish more content this year. I want to share with you some original stories I’ve been working on for a couple of months, as well as new articles prepared for this website. In the meantime I’m designing an overhaul of my deviantART gallery, due to the upcoming switch to deviantART Eclypse, a new graphic interface that is scheduled to replace the previous iteration with improved responsiveness and clarity of use on both desktop and mobile devices.

Let’s hope that 2019 will be a good year for us all.
